Ravnil Chand  is a child in need. He originates from a broken family and is looked after by his maternal grandfather.

He is 13 years old. He will be in high school ,form 3 in 2009. He needs $400.00 for a yearr expense for education

The family consist of 17 members and their only source of income is a small sugarcane field.

If assisted this child can progress in life. Other wise with financial constrains this child may drop out and spoil his future forever.

Shemal is 12 yrs of age. comes from a poor family, currently she is in class seven. Her father has deceased and her mother is the sole bread earner. Since there is no regular source of income, her mother is finding financial constrain in meeting her daily needs. The problem is further compounded as she has to look after four children. Two children are in primary school one in secondary school. 

Shemal’s academic performance and her character in school is very good. If given the opportunity to continue with her studies , she can produce very good results.

Ovini’s is 12 yrs of age, father is deceased and his mother Mrs. Sakeasi Waqatuicaku is finding difficulty in sending her children to school. She has five children of which three are in primary school.

Mrs Sakeasi does not have any land nor any employment for any source of income. Ovini’s elder brother was forced out of the school but through some assistance.

Meena and Ashnil Alvin

Meena is a widowed single mother with a child of 14 years. Both have been surviving in the last 10 years on a very minimal income that has barely covered their basic survival. Currently they live in a remote and rural area in a one room shack with no electricity or running water.
They are requesting your help to cover basic needs such as food and clothing and most importantly Ashnil’s Education costs. 

The Prasad Family

A family of 10 was left poverty stricken when the sole breadwinner of Mr Prasad faced serious medical problems beginning in 2008. The family soled all their possessions to cover medical costs and turned to begging to feed their 7 children.
Although Mr Prasad is slowing recovering he is only capable of light work which does not allow him to earn sufficient income to cover the basic needs for his family.
The Prasads are looking for a donor to assist their 4 school aged children with Education costs, such as bus fares, uniforms and school fees.

The Chand children recently lost their father to a long battle of cancer and now face a tough future, as they live in a very remote area of Tavua, where their medically unfit mother finds it impossible to cover bus fares for all children to attend school on a regular basis.
